All bets were off in the opening evening of a Fat Tuesday daiquiri bar and restaurant, located inside Resorts World Casino in Queens. The evening was marred by hooligans throwing punches ' in addition to tables, chairs and anything the men may get their mitts.


AGEN POKER - Writes CNN: 'The fight occurred in the food court section of Resorts World Casino where approximately 300 individuals were still on the scene when police arrived, good New York Police Department. One witness told CNN affiliate WCBS the scene was 'chaotic' and compared it with a World Wrestling Entertainment event.'
The chair-hurling brawl involved approximately two dozen people who started fighting around 10:00 p.m. Friday night when they waited in long lines to buy the New Orleans-style restaurant, that was offering drink specials for his or her grand opening.


AGEN POKER - 'It seems as if 15 to 20 everyone was actually fighting amongst 300 to 400 patrons have been terrified and looking to get out of just how,' a Queens officer said, adding that 'a great deal of gang members were involved.'

AGEN POKER - Identified from the police affidavit were Andre Rivers, 23, of Brooklyn, and Jovan Bovell, 23, of South Ozone Park. Both men were faced with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. A third, unnamed man was arrested at the same time.
A casino spokesman said, 'The safety individuals patrons is Resorts World's main priority, and there's absolutely no room because of this kind of behavior at our facility. We are reviewing all facets of this unfortunate event and are also fully focused on taking steps to make sure similar acts don't take on place again.'
